Pan / Tilt / Zoom Control
Overview
The Pan / Tilt / Zoom (PTZ) control menu allows you to manually control connected cameras that support Pelco-D. You have the following controls:
- Focus
- Iris adjustment
- Zoom control
- Pan / Tilt speed
- Zoom speed
- Focus speed
We also supports pattern tracking, presets and group runs
Preset overview
1. Click on Preset to open Preset table.
2. Select the preset you wish to run and click Go.
3. Click on Setup to add/modify Preset settings.
4. Click Clear to delete selected preset.
5. Click on the X button to close the table.
Adding a preset
Selecting 'Setup' will prompt you to save the current location as a preset.
Pattern tracking overview
1. Click on Pattern Tracking to open Pattern Tracking table.
2. Select the pattern you wish to run and click Go.
3. Click on Setup to add/modify Pattern Tracking settings.
4. Click on Clear to delete selected pattern.
5. Click on the X button to close the table.
Setup pattern tracking
1. Enter your Pattern Label.
2. Enter the Dwell Time. The Dwell Time is the length of time before the camera moves to the next position.
3. Enter a description (for the pattern).
4. Define your pattern by selecting presets from the Presets list. Simply click on the Right Arrow to add your selected preset. Once you have defined the pattern, click on Add.
The new pattern will be added to the list of patterns.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 to add a new pattern for the selected camera.
5. Click on the Close button to exit window.
Group run overview
Group Run allows you to run a PTZ camera through a group of presets in a set pattern.
1. Click on Group Run to open Group Run table.
2. Select the Group Run you wish to run and click Go.
3. Click on Setup to add/modify Group Run settings.
4. Click Clear to delete selected Group Run.
5. Click on the X button to close the table.
Manage group runs
1. Enter a label.
2. Enter a description for the group run.
3. Define your group run by selecting the cameras from the list. Choose the preset (of the camera) that you wish to run by selecting from the drop list menu. Click on Add to save your settings. The new group run will then be added to the list. Note: You must select at least 2 cameras in order to create a group run.
Repeat Steps 1 to 4 to add a new group run.
4. Click on Close to exit the window.
